ONLINE PARENTING SUPPORT WORKSHOP
Dear Community Member/ Professional,
The North Tipperary Child & Family Primary Care Psychology Department will be offering an online parenting support workshop on ‘Understanding and Supporting Children with Anxiety’. We are reaching out to ask if you could share the below details with parents/caregivers who might be interested in attending, through word of mouth or your service’s newsletter, online platform or by advertising the workshop using the attached poster.

- 7.00 pm – 9:00 pm
How can caregivers attend these workshops?
To express interest in a workshop, please phone the department on 067-46442 or email northtipperarypc.childpsychology@hse.ie by Thursday the 6th of June, 2024. Please provide your name, email address and identify which time slot you would like to attend. Could you also please indicate whether you are a member of the community/ professional/ if your child is on the department’s waitlist.The workshops will be delivered through an online platform called WebEx (www.webex.com). We will send a link to attend the workshop through email in advance. To join, simply click the link and you will be directed to the workshop. You will be asked to enter the meeting password which will also be included in the email. We would ask that you type in your full name when joining the meeting so that we can identify you. We advise that you join the meeting a few minutes before the starting time, as it can take a moment to get started. You will have the option to leave your camera on or off. We will mute your microphones during the presentation so that there is no background noise interference. However, if you want to ask any questions you will be able to ‘unmute’ your microphone at the end or ask your question by typing it into the chat box.
Additional Details
The workshops will run for approximately 120 minutes. Ms. Bronwen Murphy Dos Santos, Psychology Assistant and Dr. Carol Slattery, Educational and Child Psychologist will facilitate the workshops. We recommend that you set aside some time without distraction to attend and have a pen and paper to write down notes or any questions that you might have. We will send out copies of the slides and resources for the workshop following your attendance.
